By accessing or using Paper In Kind, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge that you have read and understand them.

Service Description

Paper In Kind provides tools for creating personalized greeting cards that can be delivered digitally through text message or printed and mailed. Your use of the service includes submitting recipient information, customizing card content, and selecting delivery methods. Certain features, including reminders or automated sending, may require additional user consent.

SMS and Text Messaging Terms

Paper In Kind uses SMS to deliver card links, provide order updates, and send reminders when you opt in. By using the platform and submitting a phone number, you agree to receive text messages related to the services you request. This may include:

• Card delivery messages to your recipients
• Confirmation messages sent to you as the sender
• Birthday or event reminders when enabled
• YOLO Mode automated card delivery notifications when activated

Message frequency varies depending on account activity and the number of contacts added. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected]. You may disable reminders or YOLO Mode directly in your dashboard settings.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use Paper In Kind in a lawful and responsible manner. This includes providing accurate account information, using phone numbers only when you have the authority or permission to contact the recipient, and refraining from misuse such as harassment, spam, or fraudulent activity. You are responsible for maintaining account security and safeguarding login credentials.

Payment Terms

Pricing for Paper In Kind products and services is presented at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize the specified charges. YOLO Mode automated deliveries will be billed to your saved payment method at the time each card is sent. Failed payments may result in paused or incomplete deliveries.

Intellectual Property

All branding, designs, website content, software, and features of Paper In Kind are owned by the company. Card templates, AI-generated artwork, and related assets are intended for personal greeting card use and may not be resold, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.

Service Availability and Limitations

Paper In Kind is provided “as is,” and while we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee perfect reliability. SMS delivery may be affected by carrier delays or incorrect phone numbers. Physical card delivery may be affected by postal issues. We are not responsible for technical failures beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paper In Kind is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the service, including delays in message delivery, printing errors, system outages, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction involved in the issue.

Changes to These Terms

Paper In Kind may update these Terms periodically. When updates occur, the revision date at the top of this page will be changed. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the modified Terms.
